MOTION TO APPROVE First Amendment to Grant Agreement No. 22FRP20 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Broward County; authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same; authorize the County Administrator, after review for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, to execute future amendments to the Agreement that do not impose additional financial obligations on the County; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Agreement as amended.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with Broward County Administrative Code Section 20.31, action by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners is necessary to execute the grant agreement amendment.
What Action Accomplishes
Approval of the FDEP Grant Amendment updates the title of the project and makes administrative updates required by the FDEP to Attachments 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and Exhibits A and F. In accordance with Florida Statute 908.111, the Amendment adds Exhibit J to the agreement.
