Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE HOUSING AND URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop ten single family homes on approximately 2.85 acres located on the northeast corner of Northwest 21 Avenue and Northwest 27 Street, in the City of Oakland Park.
The proposed development is consistent with the permitted uses under the effective land use plan. As such, this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
