Summary Explanation/Background

The Office of Emergency Management Recommends Approval of the Above Motion.

 

This item seeks approval of a license agreement authorizing the Department of Defense (DoD) to utilize two County-owned properties for military training purposes. The training will be conducted at Markham Park and the Port’s Administrative Building. As outlined in the agreement, the DoD must notify the County prior to the commencement of training activities, discuss the scope of the activities with the County, and undertake any necessary repairs to restore the properties to their original condition following the completion of the training.
