A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO WASTEWATER SERVICES; AMENDING SECTION 38.20 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ("ADMINISTRATIVE CODE") TO PRESCRIBE A REVISED SCHEDULE OF WASTEWATER LARGE USER RATES; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Why Action is Necessary
Section 34-6 of the Broward County Code of Ordinances requires rates to be set by the Board of County Commissioners at a public hearing. The Broward County Charter requires the posting of notice and a public hearing for adoption of amendments to the County Administrative Code (Exhibits 1 and 2).
What Action Accomplishes
Provides for the public hearing required to amend Section 38.20 of the Broward County Administrative Code.
