THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The parcel of land escheated to Broward County for non-payment of taxes. Title was conveyed to the County via tax deed pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 197.502(8) since there were no bidders at public sale. The parcel is Identified by Folio Number 5041-27-01-0372 located at the intersection of SW 39 Street and SW 73 Avenue in Davie. It measures approximately 270 feet x 25 feet, containing approximately 6,800 square feet. It is unsuitable for development due to its configuration and location.

All applicable County agencies were solicited for potential County use of the property or rights therein; no current or future use was identified. The former owner of this property did not file a verified application seeking a return of their respective property.
