MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to execute the Second Amendment to Agreement No. 18-CP-HIP-8204-01 between Broward County and The Salvation Army, a Georgia Corporation ("TSA"), subject to review for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, to add an additional service to the scope of work and increase the Agreement by $371,352, from $348,910 to $720,262, to extend Rapid Rehousing ("RRH") subsidies for participating individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Broward County; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Amendment.

THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action supports the Commission value of "approaching human services collaboratively and compassionately, with special emphasis on the most vulnerable," and the goal to "collaborate with public and private partners to find creative, equitable, and responsible solutions to systemic community problems, especially permanent supportive, housing for persons experiencing or at risk of, homelessness." Funding will ensure continuity of services to eligible individuals and families in Broward County.
