THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The two parcels of land escheated to Broward County for non-payment of taxes. Titles were conveyed to the County via tax deeds pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 197.502(8) since there were no bidders at public sale.
Parcel 1 - Identified by Folio Number 4942-11-00-0460 located at the intersection of NE 56 Street and North Dixie Highway in Oakland Park. It measures approximately 6,547 square feet. It is unsuitable for development due to its configuration and location.
Parcel 2 - Identified by Folio Number 4942-28-00-0264 located on NW 27th Street, west of CSX Railroad in Oakland Park. It measures approximately 1,307 square feet. It is unsuitable for development due to its configuration and location.
