Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.
The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop a 205-room hotel and 28,000 square feet of commercial (10,950 square feet existing and 17,050 square feet proposed), on approximately 1.7 acres located at the south side of Las Olas Boulevard, between Seabreeze Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard, in the City of Fort Lauderdale.
