Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.
The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped parcel of land, measuring approximately 371 feet by 12 feet from Parkland School Property LLC to Broward County by warranty deed. The parcel is located along the north side of West Hillsboro Boulevard, a County road, west of University Drive in the City of Parkland. The additional right-of-way will accommodate future turn lane and sidewalk improvements to be constructed by Parkland Charter School.
The Resolution and warranty deed have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
