Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.

The Resolution will convey a rectangularly shaped utility easement, measuring approximately 20 feet wide, for a total of 1,213 square feet, located along a private drive aisle south of SW 20th Avenue and east of Seneca Boulevard, in the Town of Pembroke Park, from Seneca Lake Business Center Owners Assn., Inc., to Broward County. The easement is required so that the County can take ownership and maintenance responsibility of the public water main in perpetuity.

This item relates to new utility construction project within Water and Wastewater Service District 3BC potable water service area. This service district covers a total area of 6.35 square miles, serving approximately 39,500 individual customer accounts, through approximately 64 miles of potable water piping.
