Summary Explanation/Background

THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The County owns property situated at West Atlantic Boulevard, North of Oasis Avenue and East of the Florida Turnpike. Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requested that Broward County convey a portion of this property, consisting of approximately 4,154 square feet, to FDOT for right-of-way purposes and the installation of traffic light mast arms.

 

All applicable Broward County agencies were solicited for potential County use for this parcel or rights therein, and no current or future use was identified.

 

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
