Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.

 

The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped parcel of land, measuring approximately nine feet by 85 feet, from Nob Hill Partners, LLC to Broward County by warranty deed. The parcel is located along the east side of Davie Road, a County road, approximately 500 feet south of Griffin Road in the Town of Davie. Acceptance of the warranty deed is a condition of the New Finding of Adequacy request associated with the Downtown Davie Plat approved by the Board of County Commissioners on April 4, 2017 (Item No. 23). The additional right-of-way will be used for a northbound right turn lane along Davie Road.

 

The Resolution and warranty deed have been approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
