THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
There were no goals assigned to this contract because an emergency procurement approved by the Director of Purchasing is exempt from application of participation goals.
On December 27, 2018, the Director of Purchasing awarded emergency procurement, Contract No. PNC2117749Q1, for emergency spalling repairs at the Government Center West and Broward County Judicial Court East Garages in the amount of $284,660.
On August 23, 2019, a First Amendment to the Agreement was executed by the Director of Purchasing in conjunction with the County Administrator to address additional rebar damage that was uncovered as concrete was removed to complete the repairs resulting in an additional 120 calendar days for substantial completion.
