A. MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2020-108 of the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, Florida, authorizing the Mayor to execute a Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) with the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4, in the amount of $1,000,000, to provide funding for "Broward Breeze" Limited Stop Bus Service along Broward Blvd. between the Sawgrass Mills Mall Park and Ride in Sunrise and downtown Fort Lauderdale; authorizing the County Administrator to take necessary administrative and budgetary actions; and providing for an effective date. The term of this PTGA is through December 31, 2022. No County Match is required.
ACTION: (T-10:56 AM) Approved.
VOTE: 9-0. Commissioners Rich, Bogen, Fisher, Sharief and Vice-Mayor Geller voted in the affirmative telephonically.
B. MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution No. 2020-109 to increase the Transit Division's Operating Grant Fund in the amount of $1,000,000, to provide for continued funding for operations and maintenance of the Broward Breeze Limited Stop bus service.

Why Action is Necessary
A. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requires Board approval of a Resolution authorizing the execution of Public Transportation Grant Agreements (PTGAs).
B. Board approval is required for Budget Resolutions.
What Action Accomplishes
Approves a PTGA that provides $1,000,000 in additional grant funding from FDOT for continued operations and maintenance of the "Broward Breeze" limited stop bus service. No County match is required.
