COUNTY ADMINISTRATION/REAL PROPERTY SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The property escheated to Broward County for non-payment of taxes. Title was conveyed to the County via tax deed pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 197.502(8) since there were no bidders at public sale.

The property is identified by Folio Number 5142-30-08-1130 and is comprised of a sliver of land between two developed properties located north of 3410 SW 40th Avenue in West Park. The parcel contains approximately 500 square feet. It is unsuitable for development due to its size and location.

All applicable County agencies were solicited for potential County use of the property or rights therein; no current or future use was identified. The former owner of this property did not file a verified application seeking a return of their respective property.
