As part of the Fiscal Year 2020 1st supplemental budget, the Board appropriated $3,000,000 in the BSO Department of Detention reserve for inmate inpatient care costs. The Board subsequently adopted a budget motion transferring $382,136 from the BSO Department of Detention reserve to the Department of Detention operating budget to pay invoices for inmate inpatient care costs on March 10, 2020.
