Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Resolution will convey a triangular-shaped road easement, measuring approximately 30 feet by 30 feet, from Culver’s of Margate, LLC, to Broward County. The easement is located at the southwest corner of West Copans Road, a County road and NW 55th Avenue in the City of Margate. The easement is required to provide adequate sight distance for safety and to install traffic control devices and pedestrian enhancements at this intersection in the future.

 

The Resolution and road easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
