Summary Explanation/Background
The Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department ("EPGMD") maintains an Environmental Monitoring Laboratory ("Lab") certified to perform a variety of environmental sampling and analytical services and to charge fees adopted by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners when providing such services.

Section 40.23.p. of the Broward County Administrative Code ("Administrative Code") contains the fee schedule for the Lab's services. Occasionally, the fee schedule must be updated to reflect changes in the sampling and analytic services the Lab performs and the costs of performing such services by amending the list of analytic methods in current use and fees for specific services.
