In 2019, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners approved funds to build a complex trial courtroom on the 17th floor of the Broward County 17th Judicial Circuit Courthouse. The initial timeline for the project anticipated construction to being in June of 2020; however, construction still has not begun. Commissioner Bogen seeks reasoning about why there was a delay in the project.
