A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO WASTEWATER SERVICES; AMENDING PART XV AND SECTIONS 6.72 AND 6.73 OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ("ADMINISTRATIVE CODE"), TO UPDATE THE NAME OF THE WATER AND WASTEWATER BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish notice of public hearing to consider adoption of the Resolution Amending the Broward County Administrative Code is being considered by the Board of County Commissioners at its meeting of September 10, 2020.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICES/BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.
The division of Broward County Water and Wastewater that oversees accounts, revenues, and fiscal policy now operates under the name "Water and Wastewater Business Operations Division." The Broward County Administrative Code needs to be updated to reflect the current name of this division and to provide for quarterly reports to the Board of County Commissioners regarding all credits, adjustments, and payment arrangements issued or made by this division.
