Summary Explanation/Background
Chapter 26 of the Broward County Administrative Code requires that contractors and subcontractors providing certain services at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport ("Airport") pursuant to a contract with a term greater than six months comply with certain worker retention requirements. The smooth and continuous operation of Airport services is important to the viability and growth of the Airport.
