Section 18.63 of the Administrative Code states that donations to the County shall be accepted by Budget Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners. Board approval is necessary to appropriate revenue.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE ANIMAL CARE AND ADOPTION DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
Approval of this motion permits the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Division to budget donations in the amount of $13,556 from multiple donors to the Animal Care and Adoption Division.
Inherent in the motion is authorization for the County Administrator to take all administrative and budgetary actions required to implement the donations.
