THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Homeless Continuum of Care Board (HCOC) is composed of 30 voting/nonvoting members, including 19 members who are nominated by specific entities for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. One voting member category provides for a CareerSource Broward representative to serve on the HCOC.
The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the HCOC pursuant to Section 12.153(a)4, Broward County Administrative Code:
• Ronald Moffett nominated as the CareerSource Broward Representative.
Mr. Moffett was nominated by CareerSource Broward to serve on the HCOC on October 1, 2020.The County Attorney has determined that Mr. Moffett qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
