Summary Explanation/Background

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISON RECOMMEND APPROVAL, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 42 single family residences on approximately 47.5 acres located on the east side of Dykes Road, between Griffin Road and Southwest 51 Avenue, in the Town of Southwest Ranches. The applicant is also seeking approval to waive the sidewalk requirement.
