Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate a portion of the road easement as recorded in Official Records Book 8019, Page 281 of the Public Records of Broward County and is located at 6500 North Andrews Avenue in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Vacating this easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The City of Fort Lauderdale received a letter providing a notice of intent to vacate the easement on July 5, 2019 and no objection was raised. Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject easement.
