THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Homeless Continuum of Care Board (HCOC) is composed of 30 voting/nonvoting members, including 19 members who are nominated by specific entities for approval by the Board of County Commissioners. One voting member category provides for the Chairperson of the Homeless Provider and Stakeholders' Council to serve on the HCOC.
The following nominations have been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the HCOC pursuant to Section 12.153(a)4, Broward County Administrative Code:
• Lorraine Wilby nominated as the Chairperson of the Homeless Provider and Stakeholders' Council Representative.
Ms. Wilby was nominated by the Homeless Provider and Stakeholders' Council on October 15, 2020. The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Wilby qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
