Summary Explanation/Background

At its November 10, 2020, meeting, the Broward County Board of County Commissioners approved the 2020 CEMP (Item No. 91). In connection with that item, we issued a memorandum advising that certain code provisions would need to be amended due to some substantive revisions to the CEMP.

This item directs the Office of the County Attorney to draft an appropriate Ordinance and Resolution to revise the Broward County Code of Ordinances and the Broward County Administrative Code, respectively, that will ensure consistency of those provisions with the 2020 CEMP, including necessary revisions to the special meeting rules.
