A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO CULTURAL DIVISION GRANT PROGRAMS; REPEALING AND REPLACING SECTIONS 29.14 THROUGH 29.17 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ("ADMINISTRATIVE CODE") RELATING TO CULTURAL GRANT AWARDS AND SPONSORSHIPS; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Why Action is Necessary
A Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish notice of public hearing to consider adoption of the Resolution Amending the Broward County Administrative Code will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners at its meeting of December 1, 2020.

Repeals and replaces certain sections of the Broward County Administrative Code relating to the Cultural Grant Awards Program ("Grants Program"); including restructuring the Grants Program and modifying approval authority.
