A. MOTION TO RETROACTIVELY APPROVE Grant Agreement for project 20-LSTA-B-02 between Florida Department of State, Division of Library and Information Services and the Broward County Board of County Commissioners, for, and on behalf of, the Broward County Library, effective July 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, in the amount of $50,701 for the project "Career Online High School" which will provide scholarships and additional library services for 38 eligible adults seeking to earn high school diplomas; and authorize the County Administrator to take all administrative or budgetary actions to implement the grant and accept funding; and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the same.
(Per the Tuesday Agenda Memorandum, the Board's consideration of the item is based on the revised Motion Statement distributed as Additional Material.)
ACTION: (T-10:38 AM) Approved as amended with Yellow-Sheeted Additional Material, dated January 12, 2021 submitted at the request of the Libraries Division.
VOTE: 9-0. Commissioner Rich voted in the affirmative telephonically.
B. MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution No. 2021-014 in the grant fund for the Libraries Division in the amount of $50,701 to fund the "Career Online High School" project.
