Summary Explanation/Background

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate  a portion of a 35-foot right-of-way and a variable width utility easement lying within Parcel A of Solomon Office Park Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 121, Page 13 of the Public Records of Broward County, located at 7850 Pasadena Boulevard in the City of Pembroke Pines. Vacating these portions of a right-of-way and easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.

The City of Pembroke Pines adopted Resolution No. 2020-R-04 on January 15, 2020 granting approval of the abandonment and vacation of the portions of a 35-foot right-of-way and a variable width utility easement.

Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject portions of a right-of-way and easement.

This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney, see Exhibit 1.
