Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate a portion of a 50-foot utility easement lying within Tract A of Plantation Plaza, as recorded in Plat Book 68, Page 25 and a variable width utility easement lying within Tract A of Swindell’s Subdivision No. 2 Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 68, Page 32 of the Public Records of Broward County, located at 311 North State Road 7 in the City of Plantation. Vacating these easements will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The letter from the City of Plantation dated January 15, 2020 indicates no objection to the requested vacation.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject easements.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney, see Exhibit 1.
