Summary Explanation/Background
The Broward County Administrative Code provides certain time limits for public comment on agenda items at meetings of the County Commission. If five or fewer individuals are registered to speak on an agenda item, each individual may speak for three minutes; if more than five individuals are registered to speak on an agenda item, the individual speaking time is reduced to two minutes per speaker.

The current procedures do not address how to calculate time limits when multiple agenda items are heard together.
