MOTION TO AWARD fixed contract to low bidder, ENCO, LLC, for Broward County Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport North Perimeter Road Water Main Improvement, Bid No. PNC2121131C1, for the Broward County Aviation Department, in the amount of $3,039,949, which includes allowances in the amount of $43,000, to be substantially completed within 250 calendar days from the Project Initiation Date listed in the Second Notice to Proceed, contingent upon the receipt and approval of the insurance/performance and payment guaranty, and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.

In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.31.a.4, Award Authority, Board approval is required for awards exceeding $500,000.

THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) established this as a reserved contract for County Business Enterprise (CBE). ENCO, LLC, a certified CBE firm, met the CBE requirements for this solicitation, which the OESBD reviewed and approved (Exhibit 2).
This contract provides the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for the construction of approximately 10,000 linear feet of potable water main lines at Broward County Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (Airport).
