Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate the ten-foot and 20-foot utility easements lying within Parcel A of Nova University No. 1, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 146, Page 49 of the Public Records of Broward County and are located at 3301 College Avenue in the Town of Davie. Vacating these platted easements will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The Town of Davie adopted Resolution No. R-2017-030 and R-2018-208 on January 4, 2017 and July 25, 2018, respectively, granting approval of the abandonment and vacation of the platted easements.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject platted easements.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved to form by the Office of the County Attorney see Exhibit 1.
