Summary Explanation/Background
THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE PURCHASING DIVISION RECOMMEND THE APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Office of Economic and Small Business Development did not establish County Business Enterprise (CBE) participation goals for this project because there are fewer than two certified CBEs available to participate in this project (Exhibit 2).

The Human Resources Division seeks to engage a qualified firm, or firms to provide affordable, group health and pharmacy insurance administration and programs for group health and pharmacy insurance on a self-insured basis at competitive rates to Broward County employees, retirees, Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) participants, survivors, and their eligible dependents.
