MOTION TO ADOPT Resolution No. 2021-094 directing the County Administrator to publish Notice of Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 422 of the Governmental Center to consider enactment of a proposed Ordinance, the title of which is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND NONEMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES; AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 31/2 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES ("CODE"); AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF NONEMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE; CLARIFYING AN EXEMPTION FOR VEHICLES OWNED AND OPERATED BY HOSPITALS; AMENDING APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR A NONEMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION LICENSE; AMENDING PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS FOR NONEMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION; AMENDING REQUIREMENTS FOR VEHICLES PROVIDING NONEMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
