Summary Explanation/Background

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate a portion of a ten-foot utility easement lying within Parcel A of Lanzo Industrial Center Phase II Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 183, Page 324 of the Public Records of Broward County, located at 4250 North Powerline Road in the City of Deerfield Beach. Vacating this easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.

 

The City of Deerfield Beach adopted Ordinance No. 2020-136 on October 6, 2020 granting approval of the abandonment and vacation of the utility easement.

 

Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the abandonment and vacation of the subject easement.

 

This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney, see Exhibit 1.
