Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped road easement measuring approximately nine feet by 350 feet from New River III, LLC to Broward County (Exhibit 1). The easement is located along the west side of South Andrews Avenue, a County road, north of SW 5th Street in the City of Fort Lauderdale, as shown in Exhibit 2. The executed Road Easement (Exhibit 3) is required to accommodate future multi-modal transportation.

 

The Resolution and Road Easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
