Summary Explanation/Background

On November 10, 2020 (Agenda Item 20), the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County approved a motion to declare the parcels subject to Motions A, B and C surplus to the County’s needs and authorized the Real Property Section to manage the sale of the properties pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 125.35(2). Notices were sent to adjacent property owners advising of the sale and requesting sealed bids. One bid was received per parcel as follows:

 

Motion A. The County received one bid for $2,000 from adjacent property owner, Derek Entrikin, for the vacant land identified by folio number 4942-3105-0590.

 

Motion B. The County received one bid for $202 from adjacent property owner, Linda Berrian, for the vacant land identified by folio number 5042-0600-0150.

 

Motion C. The County received one bid for $1,002 from adjacent property owner, Linda Berrian, for the vacant land identified by folio number 5042-0600-0180.
