Summary Explanation/Background
On November 10, 2020 (Item No. 62), The Board of County Commissioners approved, via quit claim deed to the City of Plantation, the conveyance of a parcel of land not suitable for development or building measuring, 11,984 square feet, that currently serves as a local road.
The deed from Broward County to the City of Plantation contained a scrivener's error in the property's legal description. More specifically, it erroneously referenced Plat Book 97, Page 37 instead of Plat Book 97, Page 47. Approval of this Corrective Quit Claim Deed will rectify the error and clear the chain of title.
All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
