Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Resolution will convey two parcels of land, one irregularly-shaped parcel measuring approximately 14 feet by 200 feet and the other rectangular-shaped parcel measuring approximately two feet by 546 feet from CE Tamarac, LLC to Broward County by Warranty Deed (Exhibit 1). The parcels are located along the north side of West McNab Road, a County road, east of North Pine Island Road in the City of Tamarac (Exhibit 2). The Warranty Deed is required to accommodate a westbound right turn lane along West McNab Road at North Pine Island Road and future multi-modal transportation improvements (Exhibit 3).
The Resolution and Warranty Deed have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
