Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Resolution will convey an irregularly-shaped parcel measuring approximately four feet by 205 feet from Stor-All South Dixie Highway, LLC to Broward County by Warranty Deed (Exhibit 1). The parcel is located along the west side of South Dixie Highway, a County road, between Dewey Street and Washington Street in the City of Hollywood (Exhibit 2). The Warranty Deed is required to improve traffic and pedestrian safety and accommodate future multi-modal transportation improvements (Exhibit 3).
The Resolution and Warranty Deed have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
