Why Action is Necessary
It is necessary to schedule a public hearing of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners to be held subsequent to receipt of a recommendation from the Broward County Planning Council prior to adoption of an amendment to the Broward County Comprehensive Plan.
What Action Accomplishes
The Resolution directs the County Administrator to set a public hearing for June 1, 2021, to consider adoption of proposed text amendment PCT 21-2, which is an amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan, pursuant to Section 163.3184, Florida Statutes, as amended.
