Summary Explanation/Background
The Homeless Continuum of Care Board (HCOC) is composed of 30 voting/nonvoting members, including 19 members who are nominated by specific entities for approval by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners. One voting member category provides for a representative from the City of Pompano Beach to serve on the HCOC.
The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the HCOC pursuant to Section 12.153(a)4, Broward County Administrative Code:
Brian Donovan was nominated as a representative for the City of Pompano Beach by resolution passed by the City Commission of the City of Pompano Beach on March 23, 2021.
The County Attorney has determined that Brian Donovan qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
