Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") approval is required when the Amendment amount increase is greater than $500,000, in accordance with Section 21.47 of the Broward County Procurement Code.

THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action approves the Second Amendment to the Agreement between the County and SGI Matrix to increase the Optional Services not-to-exceed amount by an additional $600,000, to permit County to purchase additional software licenses, parts, equipment, and services to enhance the Matrix Frontier access control system at the Airport.
On May 1, 2018, the Director of Purchasing executed an Agreement between the County and SGI Matrix for software, equipment, and related support and maintenance services for an initial two-year term with three one-year extensions with a total not to exceed amount of $2,810,000.
