Summary Explanation/Background

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISON RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 75 Mid-Rise units on approximately 8.2 acres located on the southwest corner of Dania Beach Boulevard and Southwest 8 Avenue in the City of Dania Beach. With regards to affordable housing, this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 because it is not the subject of a Broward County Land Use Plan amendment.
