A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO RATES, FEES, AND CHARGES AT FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ("AIRPORT"); AMENDING SECTION 39.2 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ("ADMINISTRATIVE CODE"); MODIFYING AND ESTABLISHING CERTAIN FEES AT THE AIRPORT; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

A Resolution directing the County Administrator to publish notice of public hearing to consider adoption of the Resolution amending the Broward County Administrative Code was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners at its meeting of May 18, 2021.

THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
Section 2-3 of the Broward County Code of Ordinances ("Code") requires the Broward County Board of County Commissioners to establish, through the adoption of a resolution, the rates, fees, and charges for the services and facilities provided at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport ("Airport").
Section 39.2(e) of the Broward County Administrative Code ("Administrative Code") currently provides a charge for failure to notify the Airport in the event of a termination or separation of an employee and/or failure to return the Airport Issued Identification Media...
