THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Racial Equity Task Force (RETF) is comprised of 37 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Broward County State Attorney nominates a member to be appointed by the County Commission.
The following nomination has been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the RETF pursuant to Broward County Code:
• Regina A. Faulk as the State Attorney’s Office for the 17th Judicial Circuit Nominee.
Regina A. Faulk was nominated by the Broward County State Attorney to serve on the RETF on April 28, 2021. The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Faulk qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
