THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS/BOARDS SECTION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THIS ITEM.
The Police and Criminal Justice Review Board (PCJRB) is comprised of 24 members appointed by the Broward County Commission. The Broward Behavioral Health Coalition nominates a member to be appointed by the County Commission.
The following nomination as been received by the Human Services Department (HSD) for appointment to the PCJRB pursuant to Broward County Code:
• Silvia Quintana as the Broward Health Coalition Nominee.
Silvia Quintana was nominated by the chief executive officer of the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, Inc. to serve on the PCJRB on May 4, 2021. The County Attorney has determined that Ms. Quintana qualifies for appointment (Exhibit 1).
