Why Action is Necessary
Board of County Commissioners' approval is required in accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.43, Specific Period, a contract for supplies or services may be entered into for no more than five years without the express consent of the Board and Section 21.47, Amendments, for changes to the scope of the contract due to the addition of and redirection of funds to a new task.

What Action Accomplishes
Allows for continued outreach and support services to be provided for the Broward Water Partnership (BWP) and Conservation Pays rebate program while the new solicitation is in process.
